Evidence guide and citation library

You should be able to verify any citation in under a minute

Every claim on this site traces to a named source: a specific recording, transcript segment, dated document, or public record. This page explains how to read the evidence cards, how to verify a citation against the source, and what each badge means — then indexes the major citations by topic.

What an evidence card looks like

Most topic pages use the same recurring card structure. Each card says what claim is being made, where it comes from, what status the source has, and how it has been analysed. The annotated example below shows what each part does.

① Pattern title — what the recording shows

Subtitle. One sentence summarising the structural finding.

② Optional badge

③ Citations

④ One-line description of what this excerpt shows
Original Slovenian⑧ The exact Slovenian quotation, preserved verbatim.
English Translation⑨ The English translation, kept close to the original meaning.

⑩ Analysis

What the citation shows when checked against the relevant external standard. Cross-links to other pages where the same pattern appears.

The same structure repeats across every topic page so a reader who learns to read one card can read them all.

How to verify a citation in three steps

1. Play the embedded clip

Each citation includes an embedded video clip that plays directly on this page. The clip starts a few seconds before the cited moment so you can hear it in context.

2. Watch the full clip

The clip includes context before and after the citation. Confirm the speaker and that the excerpt means what we say it means — not taken out of context.

3. Compare the Slovenian quote to the audio

The original Slovenian is the primary evidence. The English translation is for access. If the quote does not match the audio, see corrections.

What the badges mean

Warn

Used to flag high-stakes citations: timed predictions, physical-risk claims, child-harm framing, cancer-related claims, extreme language. The badge is editorial, not a content warning — it tells the reader the claim has unusually high consequences if accepted.

Archive

Used for non-video sources: invitation emails, public forum threads, social-media posts, and redacted documents.

OK

Used for participant context, recurring-pattern flags, or contextual notes that do not themselves carry a high-risk finding. Often used to mark reception evidence (how followers respond) rather than primary teaching content.

No badge

Standard primary-source citation: a verified Lana Praner recording with a confirmed timestamp. The default. Most citations on the site fall here.

Citation library — by topic

A topic-indexed map to the major findings across the site. Each card lists the primary citations for that topic; click through for the original Slovenian, English translation, and full analysis on the topic page itself. Verification metadata (precise dates, video IDs, timestamp anchors) lives on the topic-page cards, not here.

Standards we follow

  • Methodology — full editorial standard: source hierarchy, citation rules, translation standard, date handling, anonymity.
  • Corrections — how to report a transcript or analysis error; how the site classifies and processes corrections.
  • Patterns — cross-page synthesis of how citations group into recurring structures.
What this page does not claim: the citation library above is a working index, not an exhaustive catalogue. The topic pages contain the full set of citations with original Slovenian, English translations, and analysis.
